Support for Trump's Administration Declines According to Reuters

The approval rating of U.S. President Donald Trump has dropped to its lowest level since returning to the White House. This was reported by Reuters, citing data from an Ipsos survey.

It is noted that Trump's support rating stands at 42 percent. In January, that figure was 47%, and three weeks ago, it was 43%.

The agency also reminded that the rating of his predecessor, Democrat Joe Biden, was higher at the beginning of his presidency at 55%, but later began to decline and has not exceeded 42% since 2022, with the lowest level recorded in October 2024 at 35%.

About 75% of respondents expressed opposition to Trump running for a third term, with more than half of the surveyed Republicans agreeing with this sentiment.

According to the Constitution, a president cannot serve more than two consecutive terms. However, Trump has frequently discussed the possibility of becoming president for a third term.

The survey was conducted between April 16-21 among 4,306 adult Americans.
