Zelensky's Ceasefire Proposal Called a Trick in the State Duma

Mikhail Sheremet, a deputy from the State Duma of Crimea, has labeled President Volodymyr Zelensky's proposal to extend the Easter ceasefire as a trick aimed at obtaining a pause for regrouping forces concerning the moratorium on long-range missile strikes.

Earlier, Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that the authorities in Kyiv have not made a decision to establish a ceasefire. In turn, Volodymyr Zelensky suggested on his Telegram channel to refrain from strikes with long-range drones and missiles targeting civilian infrastructure for a period of at least 30 days.
