The Referendums Did Not Reflect the Will of the People: Pashinyan
The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, believes that the previous constitutional referendums did not express the will of the people. He made this statement during the conference titled 'Why is Justice Delayed?'
'I think there is a gap between the established legal order in the Republic of Armenia and the people. This gap in the legal order is related to the fact that essentially, in all constitutional referendums, there was a certain public perception and belief, and the officially recorded results did not reflect the will of the people,' noted Pashinyan.
According to him, there is a fundamental issue here because there is an organic connection problem between the people and the established legal order in the country, and the existing gaps indicate that the Republic of Armenia has not yet reached the point it aspires to.
