Peskov Comments on Trump's Statement

Russia is open to finding peaceful solutions to the conflict in Ukraine. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the official spokesperson for the Kremlin, during a briefing with reporters.

“You know, I wouldn’t want to give any comments now, especially regarding timelines. President Vladimir Putin and the Russian side remain open to seeking peaceful resolutions and continue to work with the American side. And of course, we hope that this work will yield results,” Peskov noted.

It should be recalled that on April 20, Trump expressed hope that Russia and Ukraine would reach an agreement on a ceasefire and would halt the conflict this week.
