Mkrtychyan on the Incident at the Shengavit Community Hall

Corruption manifestations are unacceptable to us, stated Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan during a regulatory meeting. Earlier, it was reported that the National Security Service (NSS) had conducted a special operation at the Shengavit community hall. Two officials from the community hall, suspected of demanding and receiving bribes, have been transferred to the NSS.

The head of the Shengavit administrative district, Razmik Mkrtychyan, informed that home arrest has been applied to one of the detained officials. "Stealing a single dram from the community or state budget is a shame," said Razmik Mkrtychyan.
