It Was Putin's Initiative: Peskov

The Kremlin positively assesses the statements made by the United States regarding the exclusion of Ukraine's NATO membership. This was announced by Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of Russia, according to TASS.

“The Easter ceasefire in the Ukrainian conflict was an initiative of President Vladimir Putin. The President remains open for negotiations on Ukrainian peace settlement, and we view the U.S. statements about the exclusion of Ukraine's NATO membership positively,” Peskov said.

He also added that Russia will inform all interested parties about violations of the Easter ceasefire by Ukraine.
