Gold Price Sets New Record

On Monday morning, the price of gold increased by over 2%, setting a historic new record by exceeding $3,400 per troy ounce (equivalent to 31.1034768 grams), reports RIA Novosti.

As of 10:12 AM Yerevan time, the value of gold futures for June on the New York Comex exchange rose by $72.04 or 2.16% compared to the previous close, reaching $3,400.44 per troy ounce.
