Magnetic Storms Expected

On the evening of April 22, Earth is expected to experience G1-G2 level magnetic storms. This was announced by Mikhail Leus, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, on his Telegram channel, as reported by TASS.

"On April 22, the geomagnetic field will again undergo a slight disturbance, and in the evening, there is an 85% chance that G1-G2 level magnetic storms will begin," he wrote.

According to Leus, on Sunday night, minor disturbances of G1 level will be recorded in the magnetosphere, but they will not be prolonged or intense until April 22. The meteorologist added that the magnetic storms on Earth are expected to last from April 22 to 24.
