Ukraine Demands Apology from Fox News
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine is calling on the American television channel Fox News to apologize for an incident in which Kyiv was mentioned as part of Russia during a broadcast. This was announced by the spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Georgy Tikhiy, according to RBC-Ukraine.
The scandalous situation occurred during the Easter service broadcast, when the subtitle read 'Easter Service: Kyiv-Russia.' The spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry commented on the incident: 'If this was a mistake, rather than a deliberate political statement, then an apology is necessary along with an investigation into who allowed this error.'
It is noteworthy that Fox News broadcast Easter services from both Moscow and Kyiv. Initially, the subtitle stated 'Kyiv, Ukraine,' but after the break, it changed to 'Kyiv, Russia,' which sparked outrage among Ukrainians.
