Widespread power outage in Georgia and Abkhazia: Preliminary reports indicate that a serious accident at the Inguri hydropower plant has caused power outages in several cities.

Residents of Batumi, Tbilisi, and certain regions in Georgia, including Adjara, Guria, and Samegrelo, are currently protesting the power cuts. Abkhazia, where power outages are relatively rare, has also been affected by the mass shutdown of electricity.
