The members of the municipal council from Martun Grigoryan's alliance, "Our City," despite having voted for Vardan Ghukasian’s election as mayor, did not attend his swearing-in ceremony. This information was reported by a 24News correspondent.

It should be noted that Vardan Ghukasian, the newly elected leader of Gyumri city in Shirak province, officially took over the position of mayor with an oath.

According to point 116 of the Gyumri community council regulations, the members of the city council presented the newly elected leader with the chain of hills and the key, which are symbols of the Gyumri community.
