Call from France to Zelensky

If Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky does not accept Russia's proposal for a ceasefire during Easter, it will be a significant political mistake. This was stated by Thierry Mariani, a member of the European Parliament from France, as reported by RIA Novosti.

On April 19, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the ceasefire during a meeting with Chief of the General Staff Valery Gerasimov. According to the state's leader, the Russian side would cease all military operations from 18:00 on April 19 until 00:00 on April 21. In announcing the Easter ceasefire, Putin said that Russia expects Ukraine to follow suit and halt military actions.
