Samvel Babayan's Office Issues Statement

Reports suggesting that Samvel Babayan is vying for the position of President of Artsakh are not true. This was announced by the press service of Samvel Babayan.

“In response to inquiries received from media outlets and unsubstantiated information circulating in the public domain, we declare that Samvel Babayan is not seeking the presidency of Artsakh. We consider such similar information as a deliberate campaign aimed at manipulating public opinion.

Samvel Babayan’s positions regarding the preservation and continuity of Artsakh's state institutions have been expressed multiple times during discussions with the acting President Samvel Shahramanyan, as well as within the framework of plenary sessions of the National Assembly of Artsakh and working meetings held by the 'United Homeland' faction.

We urge media outlets to cease the circulation of theses that have no connection to reality and to adhere to the standards of professional responsibility,” the statement said.
