Russia continues to maintain reliable communication with the American side. Washington is listening to and understanding Moscow's position on a number of key issues, including the Ukrainian crisis. This was stated by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during a press briefing, as reported by TASS.

“We continue to have reliable communication with the American side and see that on a number of crucial issues, they are listening to us,” she noted. “We believe that based on the information provided, they have begun to better understand certain aspects; they have started to better comprehend our arguments concerning the absence of alternatives to eliminating the root causes of the Ukrainian crisis,” she said.
