If He Enters Azerbaijan, He Will Be Expelled: HajiZadeh

The President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Theodoros Rusopoulos, has been included in Azerbaijan's blacklist. This was announced by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs while commenting on the statements made by the PACE President.

“We decisively reject and condemn the accusations made by Theodoros Rusopoulos, President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. It is absolutely unacceptable to call the leader of our country a dictator and to insult him; this is a manifestation of political ignorance and stupidity. The current hysterical situation in the assembly, led by the dictator Rusopoulos, demonstrates that a deplorable situation prevails in the PACE. A similar situation has also arisen in the European Parliament,” said Aykan HajiZadeh, the official representative of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.

According to him, Theodoros Rusopoulos is included in Azerbaijan's blacklist, along with 76 members of the PACE who supported the unjust and legally dubious initiative to suspend the Azerbaijani delegation's powers in the PACE. “If Rusopoulos enters Azerbaijan, we will expel him,” Aykan HajiZadeh stated.
