In Tbilisi, a trilateral meeting was held at the level of deputy foreign ministers of Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, initiated by Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. This information was provided by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

At the start of the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister of Georgia Lasha Darsalia, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan, and Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov welcomed the first trilateral meeting among the three South Caucasian countries, emphasizing that they have unutilized potential for cooperation based on mutual respect for each other’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The meeting aimed to promote trilateral cooperation in areas of common interest, with the goal of contributing to sustainable development and prosperity in the region. Furthermore, collaboration in these areas can enhance the addressing of common challenges and ultimately contribute to establishing long-term stability and rapid development in the South Caucasus.

During the meeting, participants exchanged thoughts and visions regarding potential areas of collaboration. At the conclusion of the meeting, they highlighted the positive and constructive environment, viewing it as a preliminary stage aimed at fostering trust and further dialogue at a higher level.
