He Crossed the Line: Kallas

The head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, has stated that Israel has crossed a line with its actions in Gaza, according to Repubblica.

"Israel has the right to defend itself, but recent events clearly showed that it has crossed its borders. The loss of life that we are seeing there is horrific," Kallas said.

He added that the EU is trying to provide maximum assistance to the Palestinians. According to him, Israel's security cannot be guaranteed without respecting the rights of the Palestinian people.
