Kaja Kallas Should Be Dismissed and Brought to Trial, Says Russia's State Duma
The head of EU diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, should be dismissed and handed over to the UN international tribunal, stated Vyacheslav Volodin, the chairman of Russia's State Duma, on his Telegram channel.
“Kallas should be removed from her position and presented before the UN international tribunal,” he wrote.
Volodin noted that Kallas had issued threats and an ultimatum not only to EU countries but also to candidate countries discussing accession to the EU, demanding they refrain from traveling to the Russian Federation during the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory celebrations.
“Kallas's statement is disrespectful to the memory of those who sacrificed themselves to save the world from fascism,” added the State Duma chairman.
