It’s a Bit Absurd What Zelensky Said: U.S. Vice President
U.S. Vice President J. D. Vance has criticized Vladimir Zelensky for his statements. He noted that while he condemns Russia since 2022, he has been trying to understand the strategic objectives of both sides since then.
"I have tried to use strategic understanding. If you want the conflict to end, you need to try to understand the strategic objectives of both sides. This does not mean that you morally support Russia's objectives or widespread invasion, but you need to try to understand where their strategic red lines are drawn, and you also need to try to understand Ukraine's objectives in this conflict.
It’s a bit absurd what Zelensky said, that we somehow support the Russians," Vance stated.
It should be noted that in an interview with CBS, Zelensky remarked that he felt the Vice President was justifying Putin's actions.
