A Unique Individual Rejected: Simonian on Serzh Sargsyan

Ali Simonian, the Speaker of the National Assembly, stated that Serzh Sargsyan has not grasped that it is the people who bring power, rather than the debate between him and Robert Kocharyan over who brought the ruling Civil Contract party to power. This comment comes in response to Sargsyan's speech at a Republican Party meeting.

According to Simonian, Sargsyan is attempting to gather points in his debate with Kocharyan. Speaking about the criticisms directed at the Civil Contract party, he noted, 'When he speaks poorly of us, our ratings increase. I suggest Mr. Sargsyan to run for elections in his own persona next time.'

He also remarked that Sargsyan is 'a unique individual rejected by the Armenian nation' and urged him to reflect on his past actions.
