Waiting for Our Partners: Zakharova

Russia expects an Iranian delegation to visit Moscow to negotiate with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. This was announced by Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, as reported by TASS.

“We are waiting for our Iranian partners; talks are scheduled with Sergey Viktorovich Lavrov,” she stated.

According to the diplomat, Iranian representatives will also meet with other Russian officials.

Earlier, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Bagheri stated that Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi would visit Moscow to discuss the negotiations between Tehran and Washington with the Russian side. Zakharova noted that the meeting would take place at the end of the week.
