Situation on Yerevan's Mikoyan Street
Residents of building 64 on Anastas Mikoyan Street in Yerevan closed the street early in the morning due to demands they have towards the bankrupt developer. However, about 40 minutes later, they reopened the street.
The residents complain that they have been waiting for several years for the rights to their purchased apartments, but the developer was declared bankrupt, and their housing issues remain unresolved. Those particularly in trouble are the residents who made cash payments directly to the developer and are unable to prove those transactions.
Among those affected by the developer of Mikoyan 64 is Babken Tunyan, a member of the National Assembly from the Civil Contract faction. Earlier, it was reported that the residents of Anastas Mikoyan 64 had blocked Anastas Mikoyan Street / Yeghvard Highway.
