Medvedev Remembers His Father's Past

The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, has referred to Germany's future Chancellor Friedrich Merz as a Nazi for his idea to strike the Crimean bridge, and recalled his father's Hitler-era past, TASS reports.

“Chancellor candidate Friedrich Merz is haunted by the memories of his father, who served in Hitler's Wehrmacht. Now Merz is suggesting we strike the Crimean bridge. Think twice, Nazi,” he stated.

Earlier, Friedrich Merz, who is set to lead the new German government in May, allowed for the supply of Taurus cruise missiles to Kyiv on the condition that the transfer of these weapons is coordinated with EU partners.
