EU Instructs Not to Visit Moscow on May 9
Those who travel to Moscow on May 9 to participate in the Victory Parade should expect consequences. This was stated by the head of EU diplomacy, Josep Borrell.
According to him, there is no planned participation of EU countries in the festive events. Earlier, Politico reported that Zelensky wants to divert attention from Moscow's victory parade and has asked EU officials to come to Kyiv on May 9.
The EU has given "very clear instructions" to candidate countries for union membership not to participate in the military parade taking place in Moscow on May 9. Latvia’s Foreign Minister Baiba Broka stated that this does not align with the values of the European Union.
