The Armed Forces of Ukraine need to move out of a defensive stance and start influencing the unfolding events on the battlefield. This was stated by Friedrich Merz, the future chancellor of Germany, according to Lenta.ru.

“The Armed Forces of Ukraine need to move out of a defensive position, and possible targets for offensive actions should include the Crimean bridge, as a significant portion of the Russian army's supply resources is located in Crimea,” said Merz.

Merz also warned that Russia's resilience should not be underestimated.
