We are ready to sign that decision on the same day: Mirzoyan
The official Yerevan is ready to initiate discussions on the process of dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group. This was stated by Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a panel discussion held within the framework of the Antalya Forum with his Azerbaijani and Georgian counterparts.
“We need to sign an agreement to end this conflict through institutional means, and if desired, we can resolve the OSCE Minsk Group issue on the same day. I don't even know which document should come first: let's sign a peace treaty, let's sign a joint statement on dissolution with the OSCE member states or the secretariat, let’s create a bilateral commission, and start discussions on all possible issues,” said Mirzoyan.
It is noteworthy that the idea of dissolving the OSCE Minsk Group was first voiced by Ilham Aliyev as one of the conditions for the normalization of relations with Armenia. Initially, Yerevan did not respond to this, but later, Prime Minister Pashinyan himself adhered to the thought, asserting the possibility of dissolution.
