This is an Element of the Normalization Process between Armenia and Azerbaijan: Amirbekov

The "Zangezur Corridor" can be viewed as an important means of strengthening trust in the South Caucasus region. This was stated by Elchin Amirbekov, the special representative of the President of Azerbaijan, during a speech at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.

"This corridor is one of the elements of the ongoing process of normalizing relations between official Baku and Yerevan. Beyond its purely commercial significance, I believe that the Zangezur Corridor can also be seen as an important means of building trust in the region, as it is also an element of the ongoing normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan," he noted.
