The Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia, Andrey Rudenko, has called the claims that citizens of the People's Republic of China are fighting in Ukraine a complete lie. "I can say that, to put it mildly, that is a complete lie," he stated in response to a relevant question posed by TASS.

He emphasized, "China has a quite balanced and precise stance on the issue of the resolution of the conflict in Ukraine, and we are grateful to our friends for that."

Just the day before, China's Foreign Ministry also stated that Beijing had not sent its military personnel to participate in the Ukrainian conflict, and the authorities are urging citizens to refrain from getting involved in combat operations. Previously, there had been reports circulating in Ukraine regarding the participation of Chinese citizens in the fighting.
