Tehran Will Come Out Victorious: Iran's Foreign Ministry
Iran will benefit from the negotiations with the United States in Oman, even if the talks fail. This opinion was expressed by Mohammad Hossein Ranjbaran, advisor to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic.
“Even if the Muscat negotiations fail or continue, and perhaps even conclude successfully, which is unlikely, Iran and the Iranian people will emerge victorious, as Tehran has maintained its dignity by insisting on indirect negotiations,” he wrote on his page on the X social media platform.
Today, the first phase of consultations between the Iranian and American delegations is taking place in Oman. The main negotiators are Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic, and Stephen Wittkopf, the U.S. President's Special Envoy. According to Iranian statements, the negotiations will be facilitated by the Muscat intermediary.
