Georgia Does Not Plan to Join the South Caucasus '3+3' Format - Bojorishvili
Georgia does not plan to join the '3+3' platform concerning South Caucasus issues. This was stated by Georgian Foreign Minister Maka Bojorishvili during a panel discussion with Armenian and Azerbaijani partners at the Antalya Diplomatic Forum.
“Georgia is not part of this format, but collaborates with all its neighbors. There is a reason why we cannot and are not considering becoming a part of this format,” said Bojorishvili.
According to Bojorishvili, a peaceful and secure South Caucasus is a priority for Georgia. The minister believes that the region has enormous potential and that long-lasting and sustainable peace is necessary for its utilization.
In this context, she announced that Georgia welcomes the agreement on the text of the peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan, considering it a significant achievement.
“Georgia is the country that both Armenia and Azerbaijan can rely on, confident that we will provide everything necessary to facilitate dialogue and cooperation in our region,” stated Bojorishvili.
