Israel and Turkey Fail to Reach Agreement in Baku
Israel and Turkey have failed to reach an agreement regarding the prevention of tensions between them in Syria during the negotiations held in Azerbaijan. This was reported by the Israeli Kan public broadcasting corporation.
The talks, during which the Israeli and Turkish sides sought to establish a mechanism for preventing conflicts in Syria, are set to continue after the conclusion of the Jewish Passover holiday, which this year falls between April 12-19.
Turkey has refused to allow the Israeli Air Force plane, carrying the Israeli delegation to Azerbaijan, to pass through its airspace, forcing the delegation to fly over the Black Sea to the west of Turkey.
