The news regarding the alleged preparations for the presidential elections in the summer of 2025 is absolutely absurd. This was stated by Andriy Yermak, the head of President Volodymyr Zelensky's office, as reported by nv.ua.

"It is impossible to plan elections while the fight is ongoing. First, we must end the war, and then we can vote," he noted, commenting on The Economist's article suggesting that Zelensky has begun preparations for the elections.

According to The Economist, the Ukrainian president has called for a meeting to instruct his team to organize elections after a ceasefire.
