MoD Clarification on Controversial Video

Some users on social networks have been making manipulative comments regarding the video released by the Chief Prosecutor of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, from the master class held on April 8 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy of the Ministry of Defense. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.

“Such posts continue even after the prosecutor's clarification. Immediately following the entrance of the Chief Prosecutor and the head of the academy into the hall, the head of the academy instructed the troops with 'Attention! Sit down!' Following this command, as the troops were sitting down, the Chief Prosecutor greeted the cadets, who then stood up, saluted the Chief Prosecutor of the Republic, and afterward took their places. The assertions and claims regarding the soldiers allegedly bowing are at least fraudulent. We attach the aforementioned video proving this (the initial part of which has not been published until now) and urge not to weave absurdities around the future officers of the Armenian army,” the statement reads.
