Oil Prices Decrease
As a result of trading sessions on April 8 at the world’s largest commodity exchanges, the following oil prices have been established:
On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), the price of WTI (Light Sweet) oil has decreased by 7.35% to $57.01 per barrel. On the London Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), the price of Brent oil has fallen by 7.18% to $60.38 per barrel.
The measurement unit for oil is the barrel, with one barrel equivalent to 158.98 liters.
NYMEX is an American futures exchange that was founded in 1882 and ranks first in oil futures trading. Currently, trading continues across two commodity categories, including oil, gas, platinum, palladium, ethanol, coal, electricity, and carbon dioxide emissions on NYMEX, as well as gold, silver, copper, and aluminum on COMEX.
