The President of the Football Federation of Armenia, Armen Melikbekyan, addressed the demand for his resignation in a conversation with journalists.

"I have said that I will not resign," he stated.

According to Melikbekyan, the demand for resignation, resignation in general, and being the head of an NGO are institutional issues, and it is very important to consider what the members of that institution, who have elected him, think.

"And let me be very clear, with the exception of two clubs, we regularly discuss with all our other members, and everyone understands both the pace of development and the problems, as well as the objective issues. That is also the reason why I made that decision," he concluded.
