Aliyev: His Steps Are Promising, But This Is Not the End Yet

The President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, has stated the necessity to halt the activities of certain Western organizations such as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and Transparency International, which have also been recognized as undesirable organizations in Russia. He made this announcement during a speech at the international conference titled 'Towards a New World Order' in Baku, according to TASS.

“President Trump’s actions are very promising, but this is not the end yet. The USAID is one of the giants and is a completely corrupt organization. The operations of Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty have been suspended, but this is not enough. It is necessary to prevent the activities of such institutions as Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and Transparency, which serve political enmity,” said Aliyev.

It is worth noting that U.S. President Donald Trump had signed an executive order aimed at combating bureaucracy, reducing the functions and operations of several agencies to their minimum as stipulated by American legislation.
