A Storm is Approaching that Will Affect Everyone: Erdogan

Trade wars will have consequences globally and will lead to a storm. This statement was made by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a speech in the parliament.

"The entrenched global system is clearly losing its foundation. We are witnessing an increase in protectionist structures. Almost everywhere, states are developing policies aimed at strengthening society and the economy. A new phase of struggle is being prepared. All participants in international politics have begun new searches. It is clear that trade wars will have consequences. It would not be an exaggeration to say that a storm is approaching that will affect everyone, big and small," the Turkish leader stated.
