We Have Saved Humanity from the Horrors of Plague: Lavrov

In Europe, particularly in Ukraine and the Baltic states, there is a blatant glorification of Nazis and their collaborators, while attempts to distort history are multiplying around the world, stated Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as reported by RIA Novosti.

“In memory of the victors, I congratulate you on the 80th anniversary of the victory in the Great Patriotic War. Its observance contributes to the preservation of historical memory, ensuring a connection between times and generations, and instills a sense of pride among millions of Russians and compatriots living abroad for their ancestors who saved humanity from the horrors of the brown plague. Today, as attempts to falsify history increase, and in several countries of the European region, especially in Ukraine and the Baltic states, Nazis and their collaborators are openly glorified, your noble and chivalrous activities take on special significance,” Lavrov noted.
