Putin Supports Idea of Ceasefire: Peskov

Russian President Vladimir Putin supports the idea of a ceasefire in Ukraine; however, several questions remain unresolved. This was stated by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, while commenting on U.S. President Donald Trump's remarks about the necessity to end the strikes.

“President Putin indeed supports the concept of the necessity for a ceasefire, but before that, we need to answer a number of questions. These questions are still hanging in the air, and no one has answered them thus far,” he noted.

According to him, this is also related to Kyiv’s further military plans, as the Kremlin representative listed. “All these nuances are still on the agenda,” he added.
