How Long Will the Visa Regime Liberalization Between Armenia and the EU Last?

The visa regime liberalization between Armenia and the EU could take 5 years. This was stated by Nelly Davtyan, head of the Migration and Citizenship Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, during a conversation with reporters.

“The visa regime liberalization between Armenia and the EU could take 4-5 years,” she said.

In June, an action plan will be presented to Armenia, after which Yerevan will need to fulfill the tasks set before it and present annual reports. The process of visa regime liberalization will begin after all tasks are completed.
