Russia Increases Attacks on Ukraine, Zelensky Says
Russia is increasing the number of attacks on Ukraine, while pressure from abroad is still insufficient. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that over the past week, Russian forces launched more than 1,400 guided aviation bombs, nearly 700 strike drones, and over 30 different types of missiles towards Ukraine.
“The pressure on Russia is still not sufficient, and the daily Russian strikes on Ukraine prove it. Last night, there were ballistic strikes against Kyiv and strike drones in the region. There were also attacks in Mykolaiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, and Черкаси regions,” Zelensky announced.
“For this reason, there should be no easing of pressure. All efforts should be directed towards ensuring security and moving closer to peace,” added the Ukrainian president. It is noteworthy that during the Russian missile attack on Kyiv last night, one person was killed and three others were injured.
