World's Richest Lose Billions in a Day Due to Trump's Decision

Following President Donald Trump's imposition of tariffs, the world's wealthiest individuals lost $208 billion in just one day. According to Bloomberg, the broad application of tariffs has led to a sharp decline in global markets.

The combined wealth of the world's 500 richest people decreased by $208 billion in a single day, with an average loss of 3.3% for more than half of them.

The largest losses were suffered by:

• Mark Zuckerberg - $17.9 billion after a 9% drop in Meta's stock.
• Jeff Bezos - $15.9 billion, as Amazon shares also fell by 9%.
• Elon Musk - $11 billion in just one day; he has now lost a total of $110 billion in 2025.

Tech giants, including Apple and Nvidia, have lost $6 trillion in recent days, with the market capitalization of several companies dropping below $3 trillion. Analysts are describing this scenario as the 'worst-case scenario for technology.'
