Mirzoyan's Message to Lavrov

On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, the foreign ministers of Armenia and Russia, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov, exchanged messages.

Below is the message from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan:

“I sincerely congratulate you on the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation. In this relatively short historical period, thanks to our joint constructive and effective work, the interstate relations between Armenia and Russia have been strengthened and expanded, based on the centuries-old friendship of our peoples.

In the changing architecture of international relations, it is important to continue our partnership cooperation based on the interests of our states and for the benefit of our countries and peoples. We have long-term mutually beneficial cooperation in political, socio-economic, humanitarian, and other fields as a guiding principle and aim to continue and expand substantive dialogue fully aligned with the interests of our countries.

I wish you and all the employees of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs good health, boundless energy, and further successes, and to the brotherly people of Russia, peace and prosperity.”
