On the occasion of the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation, the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Russia, Ararat Mirzoyan and Sergey Lavrov, exchanged messages.
Below is the message from the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov:
“Dear Ararat Samvelovich,
Accept my sincere congratulations on the 33rd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia. This event marked the beginning of a modern phase in the bilateral relations between Moscow and Yerevan.
Based on the shared spiritual and moral values, and the traditional strength of intersectoral and humanitarian contacts, Russia and Armenia have developed a solid legal framework and built a multilateral, equal, and mutually beneficial partnership. Despite external attempts to undermine the Russian-Armenian alliance, we continue to maintain a high level of political dialogue and coordination in foreign policy and to enhance trade and economic cooperation both bilaterally and in the framework of a unified integration space.
We are ready to continue our joint work to deepen and improve the effectiveness of our partnership for the benefit of our citizens and for the strengthening of peace and security in the South Caucasus.”
I wish you and all the employees of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs good health, prosperity, and success in your professional activities, and I wish the fraternal Armenian people prosperity.
