Vilen Gabrielyan Apologizes

Dear friends, thank you very much for your words of support. Vilen Gabrielyan wrote about this:

"I apologize to the hundreds of people who have written letters and whom I have not yet been able to physically respond to. The only thing I feel a bit constrained by right now is a few initiatives we have worked on for years, which I will essentially not have the authority to try to continue to advance.

Accordingly, I am addressing the members of the National Assembly. Dear colleagues, I have the 'Law on Military Sports Activity' developed from scratch, a draft law on 'Anti-Mine (De-mining) Activity' that has been 95% agreed upon after discussions with representatives of the Government and the private sector, and a preliminary draft of the 'Law on Military Production' that has been reworked based on proposals discussed with the Government but is not yet agreed upon.

Additionally, there is a package of amendments to the 'Law on the Circulation of Weapons' based on our monitoring and proposals from other partners. There are more projects that are still 'raw' and require work, but are also important.

I insist that all projects have strategic importance for the security of the Republic of Armenia and for enhancing the protection and resilience of society. Any member of parliament who expresses a desire will be provided with the projects along with their entire analytical and justification base. I am also ready to provide any form of assistance.

Be vigilant, composed, balanced, strong, and resilient. Thank you for your attention.
