Warm and Sufficiently Wet April Expected: Surenyans
The average monthly temperature for April is predicted to be 1-2 degrees above normal, with precipitation amounts near the norm. This was announced by Gagik Surenyans, the Deputy Director of the Hydro-Meteorological and Monitoring Center, on Facebook.
"We are expecting a warm and sufficiently wet April," he noted. It is also reported that there will be no precipitation today across the territory of the Republic of Armenia. From April 2-5, brief rain showers are expected in some regions, with thunderstorms anticipated on April 3.
The wind will be from the southwest at a speed of 2-5 m/s. In certain areas, winds are expected to intensify from April 2-4, reaching speeds of 15-20 m/s. The air temperature will not change significantly.
In Yerevan, the weather is also expected to remain dry today, with brief rain showers forecasted for April 2 and 3.
