For This, Armenia Must Change Its Constitution – Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry
Mariam Z.
The territorial claims against Azerbaijan that exist in Armenia's legislation, including its Constitution and a number of legislative acts, continue to remain the main obstacle to a stable future in the region. This was stated in a declaration by Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry.
The agency emphasized that post-conflict opportunities have emerged to finally turn the bloody pages of the region's history and establish sustainable peace.
"Baku resolutely and uncompromisingly demands the abandonment of Armenia's existing territorial claims against Azerbaijan," the statement said.
