CEC Summarizes Preliminary Results of Gyumri Community Council Elections

The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) has published the voting results from all 82 polling stations in Gyumri.

Number of voters registered in the electoral roll: 111,236. Number of citizens who participated in the voting: 47,443.

Results by party:

• “Civil Contract” Party (Sarik Minasyan) – 17,183
• Communist Party of Armenia (Vardan Ghukasian) – 9,727
• “Living Land” Party – 1,694
• “Mother Armenia” Party Alliance (Karen Simonian) – 2,902
• Armenian Workers' Socialist Party – 651
• “Euro-Alliance” Party Alliance – 2,111
• “Democratic Alternative” Party – 1,406
• “Our City” Party Alliance (Martun Grigoryan) – 7,380
• “My Strong Community” Party (Ruben Mkhitaryan) – 3,734

Invalid ballots: 624. Discrepancies in counting: 945. Thus, 5 parties have surpassed the electoral threshold.
