Dear media representatives, campaigning and counter-campaigning is PROHIBITED on the day prior to elections. This was stated by Prosperous Armenia party MP Vahagn Aleksanyan on his Facebook page.

"Even if you are merely reproducing the words of candidates who have violated regulations, you still become a violator yourselves. One cannot cover elections without understanding their responsibilities. It is clear that this is being done by media outlets funded by Serzh and his circle, but the fact that 'independent' media are also engaging in this is particularly noteworthy. We will attempt to submit complaints to the Central Electoral Commission regarding all these cases. One cannot disregard electoral regulations in this manner," he wrote.
