Latest Update: Death Toll in Myanmar Exceeds 1600 with Thousands Injured and Missing

The death toll from the earthquake in Myanmar has exceeded 1,600, with more than 3,400 people injured and an additional 139 reported missing, according to reports from the "Xinhua" news agency citing the country's authorities.
Earlier, it was reported that there were 1,002 fatalities and 2,376 injured as a result of the earthquake.
According to the State Administrative Council's information group, a total of 1,644 individuals have died, 3,408 have been injured, and 139 are considered missing following the powerful earthquake that struck Myanmar.
It is noteworthy that a 7.7 magnitude earthquake occurred in the region, and the tremors were felt in five neighboring countries, including Thailand.
